Spray paint and enamel paint on glass
Livraria Gato sem Rabo, São Paulo.
For NONFICTION, a hired letterer, Danise Moraes, painted words at the windows of a bookstore in downtown Sao Paulo, using three-dimensional effects mimicking neon signs. FLORES refers to traditional florist signs - which, in turn, mimic hand-written words. Depicting a lit neon, the painting suggested what its title denied, a fiction: changing the shop's field of activity.
