Hand-made replicas of two pairs of shoes portrayed in two paintings by the artist Almeida Júnior, part of Pinacoteca's permanent collection: "Saudade" (1898) and "Cena da Família de Adolfo Augusto Pinto" (1891).
The paintings were displayed in a room dedicated to genre paintings. Side by side, they were separated by a doorway that, at the exhibition "Common ground", led to the audio installation "Footer". The shoes were set at the doorway's threshold.
