For NONFICTION, a hired letterer, Danise Moraes, painted words at the windows of a bookstore in downtown São Paulo, using three-dimensional effects mimicking neon signs. The words aberto [open] and fechado [closed], whose signaling function is mutually exclusive, were treated homogeneously, so they delivered, any time, both a true and false statement.
